Make sure your dad's closet is shut properly every night. Little is known about Repties, but this doesn't mean they're uncommon. It just means that none of their victims survive to tell the world how dangerous they are.

Role: Support/Curser

Overview

Reptie, the god of Bronze III PvP. Everyone knows him as that one monster who can use Triple Damage to buff up your attacker and make them s t r o n g. However, there are some other gimmicks that this tie has. For example, he has a spammable Damage Boost in Array, as well as some interesting Cursing moves. He can use (bland) status effects like Blind, Damage Reduction, and Stun to Curse the enemy and make their lives harder. His stamina costs are pretty low, and his Relic slots are pretty great. However, his terrible Trait means that he can be easily denied. Ironically, a fellow Reptie could deny himself due to his lack of Stun Immunity. In addition, he has outdated stats, meaning that most attackers can outspeed him and hit much harder. His lack of AoE moves means that Taunt tanks can redirect all of his damage, and his cooldowns aren't very good. Overall, Reptie is a very watered-down Raijin that can work as a pretty good Support monster for newbies until they get better ones.

Pros:

  • Good damage buffs in Triple Damage, Double Damage, and Damage Boost
  • A few immobilising moves
  • Low stamina costs
  • Nice relic slots

Cons:

  • Bad stats and trait
  • No AoE moves
  • Moderate cooldowns, with Glamorize having a 4 turn CD

Recommended Moveset

Average Algata Fan vs Average Reptie Enjoyer(Buffer)

  • Array (Ally Damage Boost, 23s, 0 CD)
  • Eldredge Knot (40 Special dmg + Blind + Damage Reduction, 31s, 2 CD)
  • Improve (Ally Double Damage, 28s, 2 CD)
  • Glamorize (Ally Triple Damage, 28s, 4 CD)

No matter your combination, you need to make sure that Reptie is faster than your main Attacker so it can use Glamorize to make your Attacker hit like a truck. If that isn't enough, you can use Improve to give your Attacker Double Damage. Eldredge Knot is a neat Cursing move that could come in handy in a pinch, and Array is a spammable Damage Boost move.

Recommended Runes: Any combination of Speed and Team Speed Runes

Now All We're Missing Is The Belt (Curser)

  • Eldredge Knot
  • Cavendish Knot (50 Special dmg + Stun, 30s, 2 CD)
  • Glamorize/Improve
  • Windsor Knot (35 Special dmg + Damage Reduction, 26s, 0 CD)

Pretty simple. Eldredge Knot is the only move in this list that can apply Blind, Cavendish Knot can deny for a turn, Glamorize can help Reptie hit harder, and Windsor Knot is a 0 CD Damage Reduction move. However, this won't work very well on Taunt teams due to a lack of AoE moves.

Recommended Runes: 2 Strength, 1 Speed

Counters

  • Reptie is all about adding positive status effects to his team. By using a PER monster, you completely ruin the strategy. Monsters such as Wyrmlad or Wickah can remove damage buffs as well as remove all debuffs applied to their allies.
  • Reptie is immune to Freeze, so it's a good idea to Stun or Possess him with monsters like Brontes and Zeighar.
  • CDA monsters like Timerion are extremely useful in preventing Reptie from using its best moves with long cooldowns.
  • Being a Magic monster, Reptie is weak to Nature monsters such as Prince Charmless and Gurlik.
