Caillech is a charming frozen fairy that seems to represents all that's good about Christmas, but beware: she will crush whoever tries to break her Chirstmas spirit! She is the Water monster from the Nine Wonders.

Role: Denier

Overview Edit

Caillech is a Water-type legendary, so you might expect her to use her spells to freeze your foes. Fortunately, she is one of many monsters able to do so! Caillech is extremely Dangerous as she has a great amount of deadly skills on her arsenal, has a good speed stat, especially her speed and she is immune to the frozen status, which comes extremely in handy. Caillech is used specifically as a supporter/ denier.. The fact that Caillech can be used on most teams makes her a huge treat and very deadly in PvP. However, due to the meta always improving, she's become slightly less viable, as monsters capable of Trait Disabled make Caillech near unusable, and despite giving her allies immunity to Freeze and Stun, that means nothing if the enemy is capable of AoE Possession, who are far more common than monsters with Stun or Daze, which screws Caillech's plans. She's still really good, but nowhere near as good as she originally was.

Pros:

  • Good trait
  • Decent stats, primarily her Speed stat
  • Freeze + Daze
  • AoE Freeze
  • Team AoE Stun + Freeze + Daze [???] Immunity is great
  • Team AoE Stamina Regen + Precision
  • Excellent Special; 65 Special AoE dmg + Freeze + ALL Stamina Removal

Cons:

  • Being weak to Thunder isn't fun as VoltaiK is at every corner.
  • She is only immune to Freeze. Doesn't apply to Stun or Possession.
  • She doesn't have any viable move without a cooldown.
  • Don't rely on her for dealing damage, that Power stat will hinder you should you attempt it.

Recommended Movesets Edit

Support

  • Polar Prison/Polar Vortex
  • Permafrost
  • Cold Blood
  • Protection of the Northern Winds

Recommended Runes: 3 Speed Runes

This Caillech is all about going first and using her support moves to make your team undefeatable. Start off with Permafrost and freeze everyone, except if they are immune to freeze. If they are, start with Protection of the Northern Winds. Your second move should always be Cold Blood. Especially if you are using VoltaiK. The last move is just filler. Polar Prison freezes and dazes one target, but Polar Vortex does more damage and has less cooldown. The choice is yours.

VoltaiK Support

  • Cold Blood
  • Permafrost
  • Gelid Empowerment
  • Protection of the Northern Winds
  • 2 Health Runes/1 Rune of Choice

This is the Caillech that is used solely as a helper of monsters such as VoltaiK. They regen energy, freeze all, and make monsters immune to freeze and stun. It is not recommended to make this Caillech unless you are 100% sure you want JUST a healer and energy producer. Use at your own risk.

Counters Edit

Caillech is not an easy monster to face, I suggest to just avoid fighting it. But if you do have to fight it, try using possession as it seems to work very well. Eggeater and Laomu are great at this. Using thunder monsters like VoltaiK does help a lot if she doesn't freeze you first. As long as Caillech doesn't get her special move, Ouros is a solid option since it can return damage her allies give him and he is immune to freeze. Lastly, if your Timerion is faster than her, go for it as you can use Cooldowns Activated and make her completely useless for at least one turn.

Water

Caillech is not so good in this department, as many water monsters are immune to freeze. Since this is what she is focused around, monsters like Frostbite and Cavenfish can kill her.
